Innovation in Action

Daniel Oduoroggorremassin, Owner/Founder

Daniel's personal journey fuels the narrative behind Borrv Concepts. Born with congenital nephrotic syndrome, he underwent two life-saving kidney transplants— one in 1994 donated by his father and another in 2016 through a cadaveric donation. These experiences instilled in him a strong determination to make a difference.

Driven by his own battles, Daniel pursued a career as a registered nephrology nurse, serving both chronic renal failure and acute kidney injury patients in a hospital setting. However, it was during his own dialysis treatments, he encountered distressing consequences of poor cannulation techniques in dialysis centers. To ensure the highest quality of care, he began performing his dialysis at home.

Daniel endured hardships due to complications like infiltrations, excessive bleeding, infections, and damaged access. These avoidable complications disrupted his life and burdened the healthcare system, leading to numerous hospital visits for vascular repairs.
