Born with congenital nephrotic syndrome, Daniel faced the challenges of kidney failure early in life, receiving his first life-saving kidney transplant in 1994 from his father and a second in 2016 from a cadaveric donor. Seeking to enhance his standard of care, he transitioned to home dialysis, gaining invaluable insights into ESRD management. Driven by his personal battles, Daniel pursued a career as a registered nephrology nurse, providing expert care to patients with chronic renal failure and acute kidney injuries in demanding hospital settings.
